Sources on Fashion in Milan at Bocconi

Traces of Bocconi University's connection with fashion in Milan can already be found in the Bocconi family papers, particularly in the catalogues of the Magazzini Alle Città d'Italia in the late 19th century.

The focus on primary sources for research led to the acquisition in subsequent years of other archival fonds related to the doctrines taught at the university and the city, such as the papers on the renovation of La Rinascente in Piazza Duomo in Milan (Archivio Brustio) and those recounting the birth of the fashion system in Italy (Archivio Camera Nazionale della Moda Italiana).
